Thomas Okokhere, CPA, MBA, is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Thomas is Advisory Services Director for Hoskins & Company. He began his career at Hoskins in 2011 as a staff auditor. He has a successful track record of providing valued-added services to our clients, including providing strategic direction to enhance business development and profitability. Thomas was promoted to Senior Auditor and then to Internal Audit Director in 2013. Thomas left Hoskins at the end of 2013. He returned as Advisory Services Director in 2019.
From 2011-2013, Thomas examined client’s financial and accounting records and tested client’s internal controls and made recommendations to management. During that time he was on the team that audited the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro Nashville) and the Metro Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA). Thomas was also responsible for the audit of the Annual Statement of Accounts for one of the country’s largest automotive manufacturers.
Thomas began his accounting career with Ford Motor Company as a Financial Analyst in their Finance Leadership Development Program. His subsequent roles included serving as a Cost Consolidator, Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Manager, Controller and VP of Finance. For more than 15 years, Thomas had a dynamic leadership career in global, billion-dollar organizations with a rich mix of financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cash management, auditing, controls, and business development for multi-site operations. Before returning to Hoskins & Company, Thomas served as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for a local provider of healthcare services.
Thomas is active in civic affairs, including volunteering as a treasurer for a local Boys Scout organization. He is an avid soccer fan and was a colligate soccer All-American and Academic All-American.
